Site Terms of Use This website lists some possible service learning/volunteer sites. While Service-Learning personnel have met with representatives of these agencies and have used care to learn about the work they do, service /volunteer participants must always keep in mind that participating in any community project involves risks and dangers, and accidents and injuries can occur during a service project. Service Learning/Volunteer participants must be sure and ask the site if they have any questions about the service project or the site so they can safely and effectively participate in the service project. Furthermore, these are not the only sites which offer service learning/volunteer opportunities in the Omaha area. If there are any other sites in which you have an interest, you may speak with your instructor to see if a service learning/volunteer project could be arranged at that agency. |
